You can energize, calm down, or soothe muscle aches and pains with aromatherapy. These essential oils, combined in various ways, can be added to 1 to 2 ounces of almond or safflower oil, stored in a glass jar, and used any time you need to turn yourself on–
- juniper–4 drops
- ginger–2 drops
- rosemary-8 drops
- peppermint-2 drops
- marjoram–6 drops
- lavender–6 drops
- rosemary-6 drops
- sandalwood-4 drops
- lavender–8 drops
- clary sage–6 drops
(A note: juniper, clary sage, and peppermint should not be used during pregnancy)
Can’t sleep? Try massaging and kneading the relaxing blend over and under your feet, gently tugging on each toe to finish.
